Pooja room is one of the most auspicious & sacred rooms of your home.Since you worship,keep religious texts,idols and images of diety’s & other godly belongings in this room,hence you must protect this room from negative energies.Pooja room should be placed at NORTH-EAST corner of home.Mandir is the king of all vastu rules-place it in the NORTH-EAST &everything will start falling in place.Also,face either north or east while praying.This is a place that brings us closer to our creator .It can be considered lifting one’s mind & heart to god about the everything of human life,about our joys & sorrows,our needs & wants,our disappointments & pleasures.

Points To Be Consider:

• Images or idols should be positioned in such a way that devotee faces either NORTH-EAST while making a prayer.
• Do not put too many idols of dieties in the temple .
• You can also place a water pyramid near the temple for enhancing water element in the NORTH-EAST zone.
• Place light or diya in the SOUTH-EAST corner of the pooja room.
• Keep this area neat ,clean .Space of worship should be invoked simplicity and cleanliness.
• At prayer room,our burden becomes lighter & we can be touched by hands of spirit .
• due to the shortage of space ,some people keep the temple in a bedroom or kitchen .Keep a small curtain in the front while not using a prayer room.
• Do not overcrowd your prayer room.Stick to necessity only to keep this space sacred.
• It is auspicious to keep CRYSTAL KALASH ,SHANKH, SHREE YANTRA in the prayer room.
